General Manager and Pre-Need Specialist
Cindy Rowley has been a licensed pastor for over 20 years and has served at Cox Funeral Home for almost 10 years. She and her husband, Marty, have 3 children, Matthew, Michael and wife, Meredith and Theresa. Cindy loves visiting and getting to know our families so that she can ensure their wishes and wants are in place. It is important to her that she be there pastorally for our families when they experience the loss of a loved one. Her mission as General Manager is to serve with integrity, honesty and to provide the finest in funeral service. She pledges that she and the staff at Cox Funeral Home will care for those we are blessed to serve, will maintain the highest in moral and ethical standards and that every funeral service will be a true "celebration of life."
Managing Funeral Director
Emily Simmons has been a licensed funeral director for 19 years and has been actively working in the funeral industry for 12 years. She also spent many years as a Respiratory Therapist. She is a graduate of the AC Mortuary Science Program. Emily and her husband, Ed, have 3 daughters, Alison, Mahala and Molly. She also has a granddaughter, Haven. She is a long time member of Trinity Baptist Church. Emily's kind spirit and healthcare background assists her in serving families from a unique perspective and allows her to minister to them in one of their greatest times of need by providing a meaningful experience and service. Emily is a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association.
Cody Cox has been in the funeral industry for many years. A graduate of the AC Mortuary Science Program, he also has a bachelors in Landscape Architecture from the University of Arkansas. He and his wife, Michele, have 5 children, Branch, Miles, Grady, Karis and Elizabeth. Cody's philosophy when meeting with families is to simply treat them as if they were his own and to always have the compassion needed to touch each family uniquely. He believes that it is an honor when a family chooses Cox to take care of their loved one and he feels privileged to handle that experience for them. Cody is a member of the Texas Funeral Directors Association.
Ashlynne Robinson has been a part of the Cox Funeral home family for 3 years. She and her husband, Cody, have a 1-year old son, Atlas. She has a calling for hospitality and is the encouraging voice on the phone and the gracious smile during the day. Ashlynne finds that it is her privilege to listen, learn and serve our families in the best way possible by celebrating the life of their loved one.
Video and Print Productions
Kaci Musick-Simmons has been with Cox Funeral Home in Video and Print Productions for 2 years. She and her husband, Breland, have 3 daughters, Peyton, Avrey and Adyson. Kaci is a long time member of The Loft Church. She is passionate in serving families through personalization and finds joy in making one of a kind memorial videos and folders. Kaci is very community involved and devotes herself to be of assistance in any way she can. Kaci is a member of the Amarillo Downtown Lions Club.
Video and Print Productions
Caitlee Matindale has been with Cox Funeral Home in Video and Print Productions for 1 year and has a bachelors in Copy Editing. She is a proud pet Mom to a cat and 3 goldfish. Caitlee takes delight in learning about loved ones from their families and then transforming that knowledge into a truly unique memoralization for our families to cherish forever.
Kassandra Logan has been with Cox Funeral Home for 1 year. She and her husband, Brandon, have 3 children, Blake, Micah and Ian. She serves our families by always lending an ear or shoulder when a family needs it most. Kassandra considers it to be a very special honor for families to share a piece of their life with her. With her gift of hospitality, she oversees our family visitations.
Provisional Funeral Director
Kelly Beckworth had a 40 year career in insurance, moving to Amarillo after retirement. He joined the Cox family 5 years ago and became a member of our Funeral Service team. With Kelly's professional background and his care for serving our families with excellence, he has answered the call to become a funeral director. Kelly is currently in the AC Mortuary Science Program and is a provisional director with Cox as he works toward receiving his funeral license. Kelly is married to Maurine and has two sons, Adam and Michael.
Steve Davis retired from
the Amarillo Police Department after 37 years of service. He joined the Cox
Funeral Home family in 2016 as a member of the funeral service team. Steve’s
background in Law Enforcement assists him in serving our families with compassion, understanding and excellence. Steve and his wife,
Tina, have 2 children, Eric and Lacy as well as 4 grandchildren. Steve is a long-time
member of Hillside Christian Church.
